Capacity Expansion & Innovation: HMD Scales for a Sustainable Future

HMD is proud to announce a significant milestone in our growth and long-term commitment to the metal packaging industry. We have received in-principle approval from local government agencies to increase our production capacity from 5,000 to 20,000 tons 4X per annum.

This expansion represents a total investment of RMB 90 million (approximately USD 12.5 million), covering new building infrastructure, advanced equipment, and enhanced technical capabilities to support our future growth.

This strategic step forward directly supports our latest Research & Development breakthroughs in high-performance, eco-conscious coatings:

UV Lacquer (Direct-on-Tinplate): Enhancing process efficiency through advanced instant-cure technology
Water-Based Monobloc Coatings: Delivering superior protection for aerosol and tube applications with a strong focus on safety and performance

These initiatives are central to our environmental objectives. By advancing UV and water-based technologies, we are actively helping our customers reduce their carbon footprint and lower VOC emissions across the supply chain.
